| The 6th International Conference on Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Handbook |
|
Greetings |
These days, in many parts of the world, mother and child health issues are
considered a huge priority. Japan is no exception and the Maternal and Child
Health handbook originally developed by Japan has received great attention. The
promotion of maternal and child health is one of the United Nations Millennium
Development Goals and one of the topics which will be discussed at the G8 Toyako
summit, to be held in Japan later this year.
The "6th International
Conference on the Maternal and Child Health Handbook 2008" will be held in
Tokyo, thanks to the collaboration of NGOs, UNFPA and UNICEF, and will have
international significance. 300 delegates and researchers from more than 10
countries will participate in the conference, during which mother and child
health issues will be addressed from an international perspective. Participants
are expected to exchange their experiences of the MCH handbook and discuss
future steps towards ensuring quality of life for mothers and children.
The "6th International Conference on the Maternal and Child Health
Handbook" will bring together a very important congregation of key delegates to
discuss maternal and child health issues around the world. Those who are
interested in participating are warmly encouraged to contact us.
